Digital Camera
If you do not already have one, or if yours is several years old, you need a digital camera. Every year, resolutions get better and
the prices go down. You will never get these moments back and it is important to record them, especially since digital media makes
sorting and storage so easy. I prefer smaller cameras to keep in my diaper bag so I never miss a cute moment (note: separate your
sippy cups and bottles from your camera. I learned the hard way). They don't cost more than the other large items you will be
registering for or purchasing and they are arguably even more
important, since nothing else can serve the same function.
Two cameras I recommend are the Canon Powershot A620 [photo right] and the
Sony Cybershot DSC-W7. Be sure to get a fairly large memory card as well.
