Strollers
It will save your back to have a stroller from the start. For infants, you need one that reclines; this is a nice feature anyway for
sleeping babies. What to look for in a stroller depends on what you need and what feels comfortable to push, open and close.
I suggest testing a bunch of strollers at a local store, then register for the one you like and Babykatz will find the best price
for you. I like this Combi
stroller.
You can have the seat facing you or facing away and it is far less expensive than the Bugaboo.
Features to consider:
Storage basket—is it large enough for what you want to carry?
Canopy—does it protect your baby from the elements?
Does it have a tray for your little one for toys or snacks?
Does it have a parent compartment for drinks, wallet, etc.
Does it turn and steer easily?
Does its form fit your stride or do you find yourself kicking the bottom?
Can you open and close it easily?
How small does it fold up?
How heavy is it?
The more popular top end makers are:
Combi
MacLaren
Inglesina
Bugaboo
No matter what stroller you get, I recommend the Kiddopotamus Ray Shade
if you live in a climate that gets a lot of sun.
Babies have very delicate skin and no stroller canopy alone will cover your baby’s legs and feet entirely.
